Jerry Lee Shedrock

jerry shedrock
Jerry Lee Shedrock, age 69, passed away unexpectantly on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Jerry was born in San Antonio, TX on October 24, 1952 to Harry and Mary Shedrock with two older brothers Harry Jr and Jimmie Shedrock. He graduated from Sam Houston Highschool in 1971. After Highschool, he started his 30 plus year career journey as a mobile home transporter. He left that industry to start his own bulldozing business which he did for the last 20 years. He enjoyed working outside, hunting, fishing, riding around, being with his grandchildren, feeding the deer on their property, and swapping stories with friends. He was a hardworking man that provided for his family and was willing to help out anyone that may need it. He lit up when he told stories about his truck driving days, hunting adventures or funny events that happened to him over the years. Jerry was preceded in death by both parents, Harry and Mary Shedrock, two older brothers, Harry Jr and Jimmie Shedrock, and daughter Crystal Dawn Shedrock. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Judy Kay Shedrock; Daughter Cassie Sheree Harman and Son in law Kyle Harman; and his grandchildren James Calvin Shedrock-Rangel, Dexter Matthew Shedrock-Rangel, Nathan Dean Shedrock, Connor Lee Harman, Raylan Clyde Harman, Kelsey Grace Harman, Oliver Hugh Harman, and Caleb Cole Harman. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 10:00 am at La Vernia Church of Christ 131 Industrial Dr, La Vernia, TX 78121 with Pastor Samuel Moore. Reception will follow at same location in the fellowship hall.
