January 28, 1955 ~ November 13, 2021
Eudosio (Eddie) Martinez, known lovingly as “Raton” went to be with the Lord November 13, 2021. He was born January 28, 1955 to Eudosio Martinez Sr. and Carmen Zamora in San Antonio, Texas.
Eddie was known for his sense of humor. He always had a joke for anyone’s serious moment. Making people laugh and smile was his peace. He was selfless and helped everyone in need. He was such a great mechanic that all he needed was his pliers! He would listen to his music station oldies but goodies on full blast when he would work outside; Juanita by his side of course watering her grass enjoying his company. His quick naps were his go to hobby also snacking on his hostess cupcakes! Can’t forget about the soda during his meals, he would always be sneaking some to the grandchildren knowing they couldn’t have some. He also liked to “yonkear”, looking for items that people would throw that he saw still had value. His little s10 truck would be so filled with value he was always so proud with what they found. His TV show started by 7pm, he couldn’t miss the “luchas”, WWE fights. Eddie was rarely in a mood he had light to him that brought everyone together and made everyone forget their own worries in the world. He was a very loving person and he made sure to keep everyone taken care of. He loved hard for his family and kept going. His light will be forever remaining within us! He will be deeply missed by many of us, family, friends, and anyone that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eudosio and Carmen Martinez, and siblings, Raul Perez, Clementina Perez, Jose Carbajal, Carmen Delgado, Josefina Rocha, Maria De Los Angeles Muro and Guadalupe Martinez. Left to cherish her memory are his beloved wife, Juanita C. Martinez; children, July Ibarra, Juan Quintero, Johnny Martinez , Isabella Cardenas, Eudosio Martinez 3rd , and Raul Martinez; grandchildren, Corina Garcia, George Garcia , Sebastian Garcia, Lailynn Quintero, Lilliana Martinez, Eudosio Martinez 4th, Eric Martinez , Dolores Rodriguez, Mikey Rodriguez, Mark Rodriguez, David Cardenas ; great, grandchildren, Leah and numerous grandchildren; siblings, Manuel Perez, Jovita Martinez and Maria De La Luz Fernandez; extended family and friends.

My Father was a man who always had something funny to say. Sometimes I didn’t know when he was joking Or being serious, he always laughed and waited for you to laugh watching you to see you smile. He was the man everyone called for help to fix anything and everything.
God has called our tio to be with our Heavenly Father. He is resting in peace with our maker, his parents, brothers and sisters. He was welcomed at the gates of Heaven. You will be truly missed by all your family, kids, grandkids. We all love you so much. A wonderful memory I have is whenever anyone had car trouble we would go to tio Ratons house to fix the car problem. His son’s and grandsons also carry on that tradition just the way Grandpa taught tio Raton. May God bless the family and give you peace, comfort, and strength during this difficult time. With much Love and me deepest condolences Cindy Delgado-Aldana and Family.
