William Taylor Jr.

William Taylor Jr. was born on September 4,1942, in Henderson, Kentucky to William Taylor Sr. and Alice L. Jones Taylor. He returned home into God’s care on the afternoon of December 1,2021. William accepted Christ at an early age and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Henderson, Kentucky, He attended Henderson County Schools and graduated from Douglass High School in 1959. William was united in holy matrimony to Wenonah Ann Daniels of San Antonio, Texas in 1963. To this union was born 3 daughters, Mia Lyzette Taylor, Nita Michelle Taylor, and Shanna Elise Taylor, all of San Antonio, Texas. William received an associate’s degree from St.Phillips College. He served in the United States Air Force in Administrations. William retired from the Military after 20 years of dedicated service as an E5- Staff Sergeant. He often traveled overseas. He really enjoyed the beach and fishing off the coast. William loved music, dancing, and spending time with his family. William Taylor Jr. is preceded in death by his father, William Taylor Sr. of Henderson,Kentucky, mother Alice L. Jones Taylor of Henderson,Kentucky, sister Maggie Watson of Henderson, Kentucky , brother Roy Lenzy Pruitt of Henderson,Kentucky , first wife Wenonah Ann Daniels, second wife Gloria Jean Taylor of Evansville, Indiana, daughter Mia Lizette Taylor, grandson Dashawn Isaiah Dotray, and great grandchild Toni Avia Settles. He leaves to cherish his memories: Daughters, Shanna Taylor and Nita Taylor of San Antonio, TX Grandchildren, Wenonah Settles, Keandrea Taylor, Kiara Taylor, Olanda Taylor, Ky’Shawn Dotray, and Zayden Dotray. Greatgrandchildren, Jeremiah, Lola, Mia, Karla and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
