JUAN JOSE MERMELLA
Our beloved Juan Jose Mermella passed on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the age of 49 years. Juan was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 29, 1972. Juan was a devoted father who loved his children with all his heart. He had a vibrant spirit, enjoyed the outdoors, and lived a practical life. Juan loved barbequing and going deep sea fishing with his family. He will be missed dearly for he truly was a friend to us all. We thank our Lord for giving us a family whole one last time. As our link separates once again, we know by faith that as we are called one by one, we will connect again.
Juan was a 1990 graduate of Harlandale high school, where he played football. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan! After high school, he served his country in the United States Army. Upon his return, he married and lived a fulfilling life. He worked as a truck driver for many years, then later worked alongside his brother at South Tower.
Juan is survived by his parents, Isaac and Virginia Mermella; his children, Ashley, Samantha, Misty Rain and Juan Diego Mermella, granddaughter Amelia; his siblings, Julissa, Eduardo, Oswaldo, Isaac, Jerardo, Virginia, Ruben, Marisol, Diana and Norma; and twenty-six nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 10:00 in the morning.

There are no accidents in birth, we are siblings for a reason, and we share more than just our loving parents, for when we are lost and seek solace and even God but somehow cannot find either one, we will for certain find my brother or my sister and we will survive our pain. -jem
