I have known Brother Sal for over 18 years. He and Doyin were very good friends before they married and moved out of New Jersey to embark on a new quest to Texas. Sal, who I famously call Uncle Sal was a very nice, loving and very funny man, he is good at making people laugh. He loves to barbecue and watch the football games, he always was rooting for the home team. Uncle Sal, thank you for buying Emi my daughter your niece the Nnambi Asumogbua Jersey. Uncle Sal would talk to my little daughter Katharina age 6 years old for hours over the phone , just to keep her company. Uncle Sal was loved by every single family member, he always took his time to smell the roses. Uncle Sal, when you departed us and went to rest with the lord, Katharina asked me “mummy where did Uncle Sal go when he died” I responded he is with Jesus, Katharina replied, “what is he doing with Jesus is he happy”? I responded to her little tear filled eyes, Uncle Sal is with Jesus right now, Jesus is cooking, singing and dancing with Uncle Sal. I can write a book about the most loving memories we have of you, every but of them was precious.
Uncle Sal, we need you but God has gained another angel in heaven, for those we love are never gone, they will forever remain in our memory. May the light guide your way home. Rest in peace. Amin , Ase.
Titilola Amendt nee Abimbola Doyins sister .

  7. I will not forget the spirit of kindness you had for my twins: you joined them in celebrating their birthday party when you brought a delicious lasagna to the celebration. May your soul rest in peace.

  9. Brother Sal was an incredible kindhearted man, an incredible loss to his wife my sister Doyin and our entire Abimbola family. I remember brother Sal’s laughs which was always a warm welcome for everyone. Brother Sal had a uniqueness about him, he believed in uplifting those around him; thus, it was a privilege to have known him. I am so glad that he made my sister Doyin happy during his lifetime. Brother Sal, keep watching, walking, talking, and comforting my sister Doyin every step of the way from your beautiful home in heaven. Rest in eternal peace with the Lord. We will always miss you, we love you so very much, and you will remain in our hearts forever.

  10. CandleImageSalvatore you are the most beautiful kind- hearted and genuine person I ever knew. You truly are one of a kind and I am lucky I had you in my life. I am so grateful that you had a beautiful life. I miss you more than words can say.
Sal, I wish you know the depths of the grief I’m going through. I am missing you terribly and wishing I could have done more to protect you and make things better for you, or that I could have just sat and talked with you more about the great adventure of our life together.
And so, my dear Salvatore while I’m grieving you because you’re not here, let me mark the day by telling you some of the many things for which I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart is for loving me. The memory of our years together will alway be embedded in my heart. Your love for me was steadfast and unconditional, as was mine for you.
I’ll love you and cherish our memories till the end of time, till we meet again my love. Salvatore continue to rest in God’s paradise and rise in eternal glory.

  11. CandleImageDear Sal,

    You will never be forgotten.
    That simply cannot be.
As longs as i’m living, i will always remember you, your smile and your gentle soul.
    Your light will always shine;
    A glowing ember never stilled.
    Throughout the end od time.
No matter what the future brings, or what may lie ahead, I know that I will see you again along the path I tread. So please rest, be at peace and let your soul fly free. One day I’ll join your glorious flight for all eternity.
I will never forget our last conversation.
You never said goodbye, I wish you did.
Thanks for being part of my sister’s life.
I’m sure you are watching over her.
    We truly miss you Sal!
Rest in eternal peace until we see you again our angel!
