September 15, 1946 ~ December 11, 2023

Born in: Cuero, Texas
Resided in: San Antonio, Texas

Yvonne was born to Frances Marie Barnett and Leonard Randle Sr. on September 15, 1946, in Cuero Texas.

“Jeremiah 1:5, Before I formed you in the womb I Knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I ordained you as my mouthpiece (vessel, prophet) to the nations…”

She attended Booker T. Washington Elementary School, James Whitcomb Riley Junior High School, and graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1964. She continued to pursue her educational goals by attending Huston – Tillotson College where she received her Bachelor’s Degree with Honors, with a 3.40 G.P.A. in Senior Business Administration.

She was posted in an article being proclaimed as the San Antonio girl top Student. Yvonne said, “I think the award is great. I’ve worked very hard since I’ve been in school and have tried to keep up with the world outside of my studies. I was surprised and pleased that someone thinks I’m special.” Isaiah 43:4-7

She also attended and graduated from John Robert Powers Finishing School, which is one of the top modeling and acting training schools here in the United States. She was ready and both eager to take on the world. Yvonne worked for many reputable companies throughout her occupational career, and became the first black female Flight Attendant for World Airways, making trips to Vietnam to bring home our wounded soldiers. The airlines utilized Yvonne as part of their national campaign called “Vietnam Homecoming,” where posters, signs and training videos captured and displayed her beautiful smile, for all of the world to see. She was known as a celebrity all throughout San Antonio for this……. Isaiah 40:31

Her marriage to Stewart Hartman in anticipation produced one son- Troy Stewart Hartman Jr. Yvonne fell in love with Christ and was embraced by His arms in 1991 at Rivers of Love Church, where she rose up in fire, and her life was forever changed.

Later in 1996 Troy became a member of Believer’s Christian Center, and Yvonne did as well. She humbly served God within this ministry for 27 years, working as an Usher and Greeter. During her walk with the Lord many friendships and lifelong connections were established. Especially to Pastor’s Michael and Christina Sosso of Freedom Fellowship Church.

Yvonne knew the Lord as not only her redeemer, but also as her healer as well. Her faith in the Healing Power of Christ by standing and not wavering on His word added an additional 18 years to her life. Hebrews 11:1, Proverbs 3: 5-8, Exodus 15:26

She was a true and steadfast servant of Yeshua, and fulfilled her calling by faith, knowing that the things of this world are temporary, but her reward in Heaven would be Everlasting Life as “1” with Him! John 3:16

Yvonne was known to be very quiet, but inside her spirit was truly that of a warrior! She was mandated by God Himself to carry out the Great Commission – Matthew 28: 16-20, Mark 16:17-18, and she accomplished this in excellence, in hope to hear her Heavenly Father say, “well done my good and faithful servant. You may now enter into my rest.” Matthew 25:21

Yvonne Marie Randle Hartman can truly be counted amongst “1” of the most God fearing and faithful women on the Earth!! She TRULY LOVED GOD!!!

  6. CandleImageI love you Auntie Evie, you will be dearly missed. You were one of my favorite faces to see when I was a child.

  7. CandleImageI loved my Mother tremendously. I never knew how severe her medical condition was. She never told me she was dying. She never told me that a medical power of attorney was given to someone who was not even family! Who only made the decision to make light of her situation by contacting me, when they knew that nothing could be done for her. Her condition was too far advanced, and was terminal. I had no say so in anything while she was dying at all! I was only able to spend two days with her before her passing. I have not been able to get the image of her face out of my mind for the last 2 years slumped over just laying there motionless, before they came in and placed her in a body bag. I screamed out to God, “why!” “She served you like no one I have ever seen in my life do!” “Yet she passed like this!?” My mind snapped….! She was my everything. She loved me unconditionally. She deserved a burial, not to be cremated! All who knew her were reluctant to help with that, especially those who said and still say they loved her. Funds were only provided to assist with her being burned! This all occurred so quickly. I was experiencing severe health issues myself during this time. If I had the finances, I would have ensured myself that she would have received a proper funeral with family and friends present. Yet, I was unable to. All who contacted me, which were few, were only interested in her worldly possessions, and what they could obtain for themselves, like pictures and posters. I am highly surprised that so few people who knew her now after two years, couldn’t even speak beautiful words about her on here as a memorial of who she was! What is done is done. How it was done is something altogether different. I miss her, and when I recall her face or voice, I burst out in both tears and anger. She was my Mom, and YOUR FAMILY! People will hold on to who a person use to be before they found Christ, but when Christ is found and their life is completely changed, they still treat that individual like garbage and don’t want to have anything to do with them due to unforgiveness and their memories of how that person use to be. This is Not, Christ like at all. I forgive everyone, and I ask for everyone to also forgive me as well.
