Ophelia D. Rosemond

Ophelia D. Rosemond was born November 7, 1933, in Cameron, Texas to loving parents Robert Miller Sr. and Mary Debose. She passed away in the early morning of December 30, 2023, at the age of ninety.

Ophelia was nothing short of an extraordinary wife and mother. She loved her family and cared for them deeply. Ophelia was very active in her congregation and dedicated to her faith, having been baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness for over sixty-five years. Ophelia often enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, crocheting, and cooking.

Ophelia is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her loving husband of over sixty years Nathaniel. Left to cherish her memory are her five children; her sons Erwin, Eric, and Kevan Rosemond and daughters Nadine Steverson and Alecia Rosemond; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Ophelia leaves behind a life and legacy that will not soon be forgotten. She will be missed dearly by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
