Resided in:
San Antonio , Texas
Juan Carlos Dana, age 72, went to be with our Lord Sunday, August 25,2024. He was well known by many as “JD” or “Dana”, and we will deeply mourn his loss. He was born in Mexico, May 29, 1952 to the late Altagracia Cantera Urbina. Carlos was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a jack of all trades, but what he did best was always helping others. Carlos was a truck driver by profession but a master mechanic by passion, always fixing family, friends and neighbors’ cars. During his younger years, he would do long haul all over the United States. Although Carlos was never one to sit still, during his pastime, he enjoyed working on cars, tending to his yard or his animals. He would feed the neighborhood cats; he even had a chicken that came out of nowhere that he fed too. Carlos was an avid Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Spurs fan.
He is preceded in death by his mother and siblings. Carlos will be dearly missed by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Dana; children, Miguel Angel Dana, Juan Carlos Dana Jr., Susan Marie Sanchez, Juanita Maurine Wells, Viva Maurine Moran (Shane) and Shannon Marie Frith. As Followed by grandchildren, Anthony (Melissa), Freddie, Jacob, Parris (Derek), Parker (Megan), Raymond, Adam and Samira; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and his fur babies and as well as other relatives and friends.
