Kevin Quinard Wordlaw, 45, of San Antonio, TX, passed away on March 20, 2025. He was born on May 10, 1979, in Detroit, MI, and spent much of his life in San Antonio, where he built a life rooted in faith, family, and service.
Kevin was a devoted husband, father, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He loved his family deeply and worked tirelessly to provide for his wife and children. His love for Jesus Christ was at the core of everything he did. After experiencing the transforming power of Christ nearly a decade ago, Kevin dedicated his life to following the Lord and teaching his children about the true and living God. He was always ready to share the hope that was within him. Though he suffered greatly with many health issues, he was still always filled with joy and putting a smile on the faces of those around him.
Kevin was also a dedicated member of Grace Community Church, with whom he found great joy in worshiping, growing in his faith, and serving alongside his church family. His love for the church and his commitment to living out his faith were evident to all who knew him.
Kevin had an extraordinary gift of conversation and excelled in every customer service role he held. He worked for many years at Southwest Airlines and was most recently employed by Charter Communications – Spectrum. His warmth, kindness, and ability to connect with people left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Kevin, affectionately known as “Packey” by his family, is preceded in death by his mother: Tracy Wordlaw and uncles Anthony Wordlaw, Brian Taylor.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Krystal Diane Wordlaw, and his cherished children: Kaela Renee Wordlaw, Kassidy Wordlaw, Kevin “Bubba” Wordlaw, Winston Herbert Wordlaw, Hosanna Joy Wordlaw, and Harriet Grace Wordlaw. He is also survived by his father: Kevin Taylor; his siblings: Elena Taylor, Adam Taylor, J’Nai Maree Baker, and Matthew Cicitta, as well his beloved aunts: Janis Moore, Andrea “Angie” Davis, Melissa King, Dawn Shannon, Nakia Adams, his uncle: Gary Taylor, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him greatly.
Anyone who spent more than five minutes with Kevin knew how much he loved the Lord and his family. A gentle giant with a heart full of compassion, he was a friend to many and had a genuine concern for the well-being of others.
Now absent from the body and present with the Lord. Kevin’s life was a testimony of faith, love, and grace. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Meeting Kevin for the first time as guests in our home for a wedding 3 years ago was such a blessing. I was able to witness his love and joy for the LORD. It was early in the morning and Kevin was reading the precious WORD and singing hymns with Winston. I am so thankful for his life and this memory.
