Chester Kent Freeman, Jr., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the age of 62. He was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, to the late Brigitte Eckhardt Freeman and Chester Kent Freeman, Sr.
Raised in Texas, Chester had a deep love for the outdoors. A caring and giving man with a great sense of humor, he was known for his generosity and humble heart—always ready to help others and never expecting anything in return.
Chester was deeply devoted to his family. He loved hosting gatherings where his pitmaster skills shined, serving up his famous barbecue to the delight of family and friends—always paired with a cold Lone Star Red beer. Tuesday and Thursday dinners and movie nights will forever be cherished memories.
Chester and his beloved wife of 34 years, Juanita, shared a beautiful life together. They enjoyed their trips to their favorite beach in Port Aransas, where they loved to fish and spend time with family. Whether hunting, fishing, planting fruit trees, or simply enjoying the breeze outdoors, Chester and Juanita found joy in life’s simple pleasures.
After more than 30 years of dedicated service with the Coleman Company, Chester retired—but never slowed down. He was always ready to lend a hand, using his maintenance and mechanic skills to help friends, neighbors, and loved ones.
Together, Chester and Juanita built their American dream—becoming proud landowners of “a little bit of Texas.” Chester’s kindness, humor, and love for family and nature will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Juanita; daughters, Bernadette Williams and her husband Vince Williams, Patricia Kelly; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; siblings, David Freeman and his wife, Kathy and Cindy Farnsworth; numerous other relatives and friends.
