Thelma Doris Myers

Thelma D. Myers, age 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. She was born on May 31, 1934, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Gladys Dixon Tealer and Codvill Tealer.

Thelma devoted her life to education, retiring after many years of dedicated service as a Librarian with the San Antonio Independent School District. Her love for learning and her commitment to students left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

A longtime and faithful member of Greater Corinth Baptist Church, Thelma served joyfully until her health no longer allowed her to attend. She was a woman of strong faith, warm spirit, and endless energy.

Thelma loved to travel, especially enjoying trips to the casinos—Coushatta being one of her favorites. Known for her lively personality and love of dancing, she was truly the life of the party wherever she went.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to share in her life and laughter.
