Mr. Gilbert Parker, age 64, passed away on January 20, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on November 4, 1961, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Alton Lowell Parker and Joan Priscilla Parker.
Gilbert was a man full of life and music. He had a deep love for country music and found great joy in playing the guitar, singing, dancing, and spending time at BBQs surrounded by family and friends. His easygoing spirit, love of laughter, and passion for music created lasting memories for all who knew him.
He is survived by his three children, his three grandchildren; his siblings, Stephen Wayne Parker (Randy Kennedy) and Donna Parker; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, Alton Lowell and Joan Priscilla Parker, and his siblings, Sheri Lea Heerman, Gale Ann Marsh, and Sgt. Robert Lewis Parker.
Gilbert Parker will be remembered for his warm heart, musical soul, and the love he shared with those around him. His legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, and all who were touched by his life.
