Born in: Chicago, Illinois
Resided in: San Antonio, Texas

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved father, brother, uncle and friend who departed this life on May 30, 2026, at the age of seventy-nine.

Born on May 26, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, he was the cherished son of William Louis Edwards and Marilyn Jean Harris, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tiara Tyler; two sisters, Helen DeLonde and Bertha Logan; and two brothers, Cecil Burnett and Richard Burnett.

Terry was a man whose presence brought warmth and laughter wherever he went. Known for his intelligence, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor, he had a unique ability to brighten the day of those around him. He valued family above all else and found his greatest joy in spending time with those he loved. Whether sharing stories, offering advice, or simply enjoying the company of family and friends, he created memories that will be treasured forever.

Those who knew him will remember a kind-hearted man whose wisdom, humor, and love left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the love he shared.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved son, Brandon Tyler; his sister, Karen Bohannon; and his brothers, Vladimire Lashon Edwards and Larry Donramon Edwards, along with his granddaughter, Chloe Tyler; his nieces, Kiren Anderson, Diane Wilson (Wayne), and Valerie Rackard (Jonathan); nephews, Tyrone DeLonde, Carlton DeLonde, and Steven DeLonde, and numerous extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit, laughter, and the love he gave so freely will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
