Fred was born on August 9, 1941, to Ed and Ada Boubel, in Laredo, Texas. He is survived by his two siblings, Bruce and Charlotte. He has joined his brothers: Edward, Marvin, Gary, John, William and his sisters: Lolly and Evelyn in the Grace of our Lords hands.
He spent his early adult career in the United States Army, serving with the 5th Missile Battalion. Fred won numerous medals and trophies for his sharp shorter skills. During which, he met and married his lifelong companion of 54 years. Fred and Anna's marriage was full of love and respect. They had 2 children: Robert "Bobby" Wayne Boubel, married to Alma Rosa Garcia Boubel, and Patricia "Patty" Lynn Boubel Pfeil, married to Clint Pfeil. He was blessed with three grandchildren: Angelica Renee Carranza Boubel, Clinton Donald and Abbygale Ann Pfeil.
Throughout his life, Fred enjoyed bowling, fishing and golfing. He was, also, an avid collector. He enjoyed reminiscing childhood stories and his military career. Above all he enjoyed playing games with his grandchildren and making life interesting for his wife, Anna.
Fred believed in this faith until the end. He devoted his life to his wife and children making sure they were provided with a loving and safe home. He was a caring, loving and giving individual. There are no words to express how deeply Fred will be missed.
Guestbook
First I would like to send my condolences to Fred’s family. I knew Fred and his brother Bruce from the bowling alley. That is where I first became aquainted with them. When we bowled I would always here Fred say that he uglied the pins down and he would always say to me when we bowled I’m watching you that I needed to watch the ball to see what way it went to hit the pins. Fred was a really nice guy and I will miss seeing him at the bowling alley.
Fred was always one of my favorite cousins. He was so funny and always had a smile and something funny and/or uplifting to say. My condolences to Anne and his family. I know he will be misses.

He must have been a wonderful father, judging by his daughter, Patty and grandchildren, Clinton and Abby. We can take comfort that our Creator keeps our dear dead loved ones in His memory for a resurrection to life without pain or sorrow. (Rev. 21:3,4)
He will be missed. My condolences on your loss. Always remember talking to him while we made Brownies. Was some cool rimes!
