Michael Lee Murray

Michael (Mike) L. Murray was born February 10, 1948 in Fredrick, MD.He passed away September, 19, 2015 at University Hospital, San Antonio, TX after a brief stay with family by his side. He was predeceased by parents, Norman Murray and Dorothy (Cramer) Murray. And wife of over 25 years, Beverly L Murray (Celmer). He is survived by his sons, Troy Murray, Fort Mill, SC & JD Murray, Naples, FL; Brother, Al Murray, San Antonio, TX; Sister, Lisa Murray-Smith, San Antonio, TX; 5 Grandchildren, 3 nieces and 2 nephews. Michael graduated from Muhlenberg High School, Laureldale, PA in 1966 where he excelled in Baseball, football and wrestling. He then attended East Carolina University, Greenville North Carolina where he played football for 2 years. Michael worked in the transportation and truck driving field for over 15 years and also owned and operated the former Wander Inn in Temple, PA for many years. In recent years, Michael held various construction positions. He enjoyed - NASCAR , Football Philadelphia Eagles, shopping with Bev and in recent years the two of them watching the San Antonio Spurs on TV together, rarely missing a game.
