Jay Connally Tucker

jay tucker
My precious son, Jay went home to his heavenly Father on Januay, 6, 2014. Jay was a loving, kind and giving son, who passed way to young. Jay was born in Marrero, Louisiana, on January, 30, 1973, he was a blessed gift to Jodie & Jimmy Tucker. Jay graduated from Tom C. Clark High School in 1991 & excelled in all his classes where he was on the A/B honor roll every year. He began working during his high school years and advanced in every position he held. Jay's favorite job was with Party City, where he served as store manager, when he was hired in 2004. He loved his employees like family and formed great friendships with each one of them. Jay had a great love for skateboarding, music, his bands, singing and playing guitar, die hard Star Wars fan! He loved the outdoors, riding in the hill country, fishing on Medina lake with his dad, hiking with his friends, mountain bike riding, and eating at buffets :) His one great love was restoring cars with his dad and friends. Jay will not only be missed by his family, but by numerous friends that love him. He had a witty sense of humor, and a smile that would light up a room. He is survived by his mother, Jodie Tucker and his sister, Jill Tucker, Jay was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Tucker. The family wishes to thank the following physicians; Gerald Sioco M.D. and Kiran Jayaram M.D. for their kind and dedicated care of Jay throughout the years. A private memorial service, with his family, will be held to celebrate Jay's life.
