Scottie–A true and special friend!
Dear Patsy: Jim was a good friend. We spent many evennings together and we will always have those memories. Georgene and I are so sorry we will be out of town for the memorial services. We will be thinking of you. Love Georgene and Joe
Dear Patsy, you are in our prayers! What an intelligent and interesting man he was…a Renaisance Man….very unusual these days. We hope you can eventually be comforted by his release from all his serious health problems and the knowledge that he is at peace now. We think of Wallace every day..it never goes away, but it does get better with time. Our sincerest condolences for your loss. Leigh and Charles
Patsy-I just heard about Scotty from Carol via email. I’m sorry that you have lost your soul mate. Scotty meant a lot to me especially when we were in the army together and roommates at UT. May peace be with you and the girls. Roy Jack
Jimmy and I grew up together, our parents were best friends. In the 1950’s Jimmy and I worked together for 2 months on the Matapeak Ranch at Robert Lee – it was hard, brutal, dangerous, interesting and wonderful. Jimmy and I lived in a screened in makeshift bunkhouse inside the barn. Several months ago I received a phone message from Jimmy that said “Richard this is Jim Scott, please call be at” he started to give me a number which he never finished – I called all over West Texas from San Aangelo to ElPaso trying to locate him. From the tone of his voice I felt like I really needed (and wanted) to talk with him. I hope his life was fulfilling and that he enjoyed a happy and loving family Please call me @ 254-770-0742 so we can visit.
