Loretta M. Martin

loretta martin
Loretta Mae Martin, the daughter of Orvis Raymond Martin and Lucille Diaz Ebaben was born on May 20, 1947 in Japan. Loretta passed away on July 26 , 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. She was the first of nine children, six boys and three girls. Her parents preceded her in death. Loretta grew up with her parents and siblings on the eastside of San Antonio. Her parents bought a home on Gorman St. where they lived until her parents passed away. She attended Tynan Elementary, Emmerson Junior High and Burbank High School. Loretta has three son's, Michael Martin, Gregory Carrizal (Crystal) and Kevin Martin (Lanessa). She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Loretta was known to her family as Lala, the grandchildren seem to like this name so it stuck with her, so to all, she was Lala. A very out spoken person, she would tell you where to put it, no matter if your feelings were hurt or not, that was just her. Lala opened up her home to all, whenever you were in need Lala was the one to go to. For her giving heart, she will truly be missed, no words can explain how Lala was, you would have had to experience it for yourself. She didn't let anyone or anything get in her way and if you thought for one second you were going to get over on her, you had another thing coming. She also leaves to cherish her memory six brothers, Bruce (Debbie), Andrew (Mary), Steve (Sandy), Orvis (Linda), Glen and Brian Martin; two sisters, Brenda Murillo (Boy), and Sharon Carrizal (Sam), nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and even close friends. Lala will truly be missed by her family for all the love and support she gave to all of us and all the moments we shared as a family.
