Dorothy J. Hernandez

Dorothy June Hernandez went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 29, 2010 at the age of 77. She was born on February 1, 1932 in San Antonio. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Palafox and Clarence Cummings; step-father, Antonio Palafox, and also by her son, Timothy Hernandez. She will be loved and missed by her husband, John M. Hernandez; children, Ann Jouett and Neil Hernandez; daughter-in-law, Cheri Hernandez and grandchildren, Lauren and Kendall Hernandez as well as many friends, relatives and neighbors. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday February 6, 2010 at the Helotes Independent Baptist Church followed by an informal gathering at the family home.
