Claudie C Young a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather was born on September 23, 1925 to the parents of Frank and Lucy Young in San Antonio, Texas.
Claudie C confessed his life to Christ and was a devoted member of New St. Mark's Baptist Church.
Claudie C was employed at Southwest Research Institute as a truck driver retiring after over 30 years of service.
Claudie C entered eternal rest on Saturday August 8, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and a son Anthony Young. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Susie Govan Young; sons Edward Young, Nolan Carter and Troy Sullivan; daughters Sandra Byrd, Rochelle Sullivan, Dana Griffin, Tangie Sullivan, Monica Sullivan and Terri Sullivan; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; his extended family and a host of beloved friends.

Sorry we couldn’t make the service. I remember all the times we would go to baseball games, the missions, Dodgers, Brewers et al. I remember him being the pool shark. Always having a cigarette hanging out as he shot his game. It has been a long while. He is now in Heaven trying to rustle up a game of pool with Butch. Claudie C you will be missed. -Barry
