THE LIFE STORY
Alice Faye Williams Elliott was born November 19, 1939 in Alice, Texas. Daughter of the late Alice King and James Allen Williams she was an only child. She was called to her heavenly home on January 22, 2015. She was married to Isiah J. Elliott. They preceded her in their home going.
Alice Faye attended school in Alice, Texas and St. Peter Claver Parochial School where she was in boarding school in San Antonio, Texas she furthered her education by attending St. Philips College and became an LVN. She worked for Robert B. Green Hospital on the OB-GYN Floor and Oral Surgery. Later she transitioned to the neighborhood child keeper and then became a foster parent for Child Protective Services.
She came to know Christ as her personnel SAVIOR and loved praise and worship. She made a trip with her friends to Memphis, Tenn. to attend an annual national church conference which lead to the fulfillment of her heart's desire to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. She faithfully attended bible study to learn the word of God. She was very active in her faith community. She was a faithful friend, neighbor and caretaker. She was well known and loved for opening her home as a home away from home with an open heart for many and she would feed anyone who came by!
Alice Faye is survived by her loving children Valerie Y. Woodard (Jordan)of San Antonio, Texas, Thomas W. Lott Jr. (Elizabeth)of Norman, OK, Sherri D. McDonald (Oscar)of Ft. Worth, Texas, Joseph E. Elliott (Debra) of Buda, Texas, Enoch B. Elliott (Celestina)of San Antonio, Texas, Carolyn Elliott Miller (Ignacio) of Pleasant Hill, CA, and Shawn A. Elliott (Kristen)of Arlington, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; she also had a host of other relatives and many dear friends. May the Labor I've Done Speak for ME......
