Herbert H. Jackson, Jr.

herbert jackson, jr.
Herbert (Herb) Hayden Jackson Jr., of Bandera, TX went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2013 at the age of 58, after a short battle with cancer. A graduate of Marshall High School in San Antonio, Herb worked for JM Lowe as lead superintendent for many years before leaving due to poor health. He was known to be very talented in working with his hands. Whether constructing commercial buildings or dabbling in art, such as the beautiful crosses he made from twisted wire, his keen eye for detail was obvious. His soul saved many years ago, he was a member of 1000 Hills Cowboy Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlotte and Hayden Jackson and his sister Linda (Pace) Smith. He is survived by his wife Jacqui Jackson, his daughter Kelsey Jackson, and her fianc Wyatt Ortiz, his brother John Pace, his brother-in-law Clifford Baran, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Herb Jackson Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank.
