Phillip Alexander Zost-Ortiz "Magnum" was born December 1, 1989 in San Antonio, Texas to Katherine Zost and Alexander Ortiz. Phillip grew up and attended school on San Antonio's eastside. It was there that he first realized his passion for music. He successfully recorded and released several CD's and loved performing on stage. Aside from his music, he also enjoyed camping, taking long drives, hanging out with friends and spending time with his family. He was always trying to make people smile. He leaves behind a legacy that assures he will never be forgotten. He was preceded in death by his father Alexander Ortiz and Grandmother Sherry Zost. He is survived by his wife April, children Karma and Grayson, mother Katherine, sister Patricia and her husband Matthew, brother Patrick, sister Alexis, grandparents Linda and Manuel Canizales, Arnold Zost and Alfred Cortez, family pet Pretty Girl, as well as, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
