Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Many have found true comfort in the pages of God\’s word the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4). In God\’s word we find the promise that we can be reunited with our loved ones (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15). The Bible tells us where this happy reunion will take place (Psalm 37: 11, 29; Matthew 5:5). We are told why we die (Genesis 3:17-19; Romans 5:12), and that Jehovah, the God of the Bible, will end death forever (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:3,4). My prayers are with the family and friends of Mr. Boyd. Death touches the lives of so many and it is a very difficult time to deal with. Jehovah God knows the hurt and pain associated with death and he has promised to do away with it forever. (Isaiah 25:8,9) He has also promised to bring about a resurrection in which we have the hope of seeing our dead loved ones again right here on a paradise earth in perfect health and in perfect conditions. (Acts 24:15) Isaiah 61:1,2 also provides comfort and support needed to cope with distress. I hope these verses bring a measure of hope and comfort to you all.
