Jack Earl Holbrook Sr.

Jack Earl Holbrook, Sr., age 80 of San Antonio, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014. Born in Luling TX. on June 30, 1934 to Genevieve and Earl Holbrook. He served in the US Air force during the Korean War from 1951 to 1959. Jack also served 40 wonderful years before he retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad. He married the love of his life Melba Sue Holbrook who he is now reunited with. Through their love came two lovely children whom he is survived by, his daughter, Cynthia Hoyt and son, Jack Holbrook Jr. will greatly miss him. James also leaves behind his grandchildren; Justin Hoyt, Ashley Harvison, and Lauren Hoyt. A memorial service will be held 11:30am, Friday, October 31, 2014 at Meadowlawn Funeral Home. A reception to follow at the Meadowlawn Tribute Center from 12:15 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the American Legion or the Humane Society
