Mario Dad, you are a man that everyone admires and respects. When someone needed something, you were always there for them. When someone was down, you gave them hope and laughter. We will miss the way that you always called to see how we were. You were just that kind of person and you will be missed greatly. You will always be in our hearts and our souls. WE LOVE YOU! Roni and Domingo.

  2. Lucy and boys, my deepest sympathy to you all and the entire family. As you comprehend this profound loss, let yourself cry knowing each tear is a note of love rising to the heavens. May your memories give you strength. Figa (as I knew him) will be truly missed. Keeping all of you and your family in prayer. Love always.

  3. My dear cousin Lucy, Sons and Family. My deepest sympathy for your loss of a warmhearted, kind and giving man. My remembrances from him were laughter and joyful. He made me laugh, dance, and celebrate life in the moment while we were together having barbeques at his home or anywhere else. He was always making sure I had a good time, was fed and made sure I was comfortable in his home. Memories were made of these, the man whom I will remember as “Figa”. He was always there for all the families around him especially his sons. Mingo, Nene, Edwin and Scott, your dad was the most celebrated man I’ve ever met. You were so lucky to have him love you as a father should love his children, “unconditionally”. Through thick and thin he was always there. Lucy, no words can describe how much he loved you. And you loved him till his heart gave out, literally. You will continue to love him till you meet with him again. My heart goes out to all of you and I pray that your faith will create inner peace and God will send you his blessings. If there is anything I can do to help heal your pain, please don’t hesitate to call on me. I’ll carry your load and walk the path of darkness until it starts to fade.

  4. Figa will forever be missed, only memories can carry on his love,

    Love you always Figa,

    Dora Gusman and your grandsons
