  1. CandleImageWas truly thankful to have him in my life. Not many men would be willing to become an instant dad to three children. Military life could be a challenge, but it gave me the opportunity to travel and dream BIG. Dad was a man of few words, he was quick to say don’t want keep you baby girl, just calling you for my health check. Love, talk to you later and the call was over.

  2. CandleImageMr. Glen this is Charles son Benjamin, man we had some great times together. I still remember when I went to your farm and you showed me how to castrate a pig. Additionally, I remember you coming over to my parents house and we staying in the living room over the holidays. You were a great family friend and brother to both of my parents and you were great male role model to me and I did learned a lot from you Mr. Glenn. You’re smiling now with joyful in heaven, thank you for all the wonderful memories and time together.

  3. CandleImageDad came into my life and made it a better place. No one would have ever thought I was his stepdaughter because he always said “my daughter”. As an adult, anytime I would call and ask how he was doing he would joke and say, oh just trying to stay above ground. He’d always asked how my family and I were doing. Then it was, okay baby, I’ll holler at you later. When we actually visited him, I would just sit patiently, smiling inside, while he and my husband got into a debate about something to do with Air Force vs Army. He loved his farm and taking care of the animals. He took his grand-daughters to the farm when they were younger. They still talk about it. So many good memories…

  4. CandleImageEARTH HAS NO SORROW THAT HEAVEN CAN’T HEAL ISAIAH 35:10 Albert J. Glenn and I was friends for the last 48 years. During that time we had a positive relationship. He was a good man and I feel that his steps was ordered by the Lord. He loved people and cared about their welfare. He helped the homeless people in his neighborhood. His love for family and friends was beyond reproach. When he visited my home he would take time to entertain my special needs sons. He was blessed to take care of himself all the days of his life. He could lean on me and I could lean on him during the days of happiness and sadness. It’s hard to say goodbye to my friend. We loved him but GOOD loved him more than us.

  5. CandleImageAJ and his work in the Gillett Lone Star Community Cemetery will be missed. May he RIP.
