Alton F. Marckwardt, age 72, born April 15, 1940 in San Antonio to Benno H. and Lauradale Marckwardt, died September 16, 2012. He is survived by his daughter, Susanne Brock; sisters and brothers in-law; Doris & Roger Johnson, Elaine & Richard Turner, Wanda & David Kramer; brother, Melvin Marckwardt; granddaughter, Samantha Maupin, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM, Thursday, September 20th. The funeral service will be 4:00 PM, Friday. All services will be held at the MeadowLawn Tribute Center. Pastor Royce Smith officiating.

I knew Alton for many years,both as a fellow employee and a friend. My deepest sympathy to the family.My prayers are with you.
I met Alton while racing lawn mowers. I always looked forward to seeing him. I have missed him these last few years. I will always hold a very special place in my heart for him. Barbie Morgenroth
