Andrew "Andy" Martinez, Sr. went to be with the Lord Monday, September 15, 2014. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 30, 1960 to parents John and Soledad Martinez. He leaves behind his loving wife, Theresa Martinez; sons, Andrew Martinez, Jr. (Crystal), Jeffrey Martinez, and Joseph Martinez (Christina); Grandchildren, Andrew III., Cory, Brooklynn, and Daniel Martinez. He is loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 5pm to 7pm. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30pm. at the Meadowlawn Funeral Home Chapel (5611 E. Houston, San Antonio, TX 78220). Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm. Friday the 19th with visitation to begin 12:30 pm. at St. Benedicts Catholic Church (4535 Lord Rd. San Antonio, TX 78220). Interment will follow at Meadowlawn Memorial Park.

His journey as a son, brother, husband, father and grandfather has ended and his new journey with the Lord has started. Keep his memories in your heart and your days will soon shine again.
