Annie Juanita Pettit earned her heavenly wings on Saturday February 24, 2018. She was born on December 19, 1936 to the Mary Francis Black and Howard Allen Black in Kyle, Texas. She truly loved and cherished her family and friends. Also, she enjoyed attending family gatherings for any occasion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Francis and Howard Allen Black and her grandsons, Ahmad Ray and Marvin LaVon Lee Jr. She is survived by her siblings, Mary Hayden, Milton Black and Virginia Epps; her children, Delpha Ann Ray (Eddie), Charles James Lee Jr., Sidney Lee (Earnestine), Marvin LaVon Lee Sr.(Deborah) and Robert Otha Hill Jr. (Shelia); 17 grand children, 7 great grand children, companion Percy Dotson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Family our greatest victory is to die in Christ. I know that Aunt Ann was greeted by a heavenly host upon her departure from her earthly vessel. I pray that we too will meet her in that place with so many others who have gone before us. Most especially I look to see God and my grandmother her sister LuAnna. I pray that you find comfort in her absence from our God. He will provide comfort that passes all understanding. Seek Him, for there is no pain that he will not heal. Prayerfully will see you soon
