Arturo “Arthur” Alvarez, Jr., a loving father, devoted son, cherished brother, and loyal friend, passed away March 11, 2026 at the age of forty-nine. Arthur was known for his warm heart, quick wit, and a personality that could brighten anyone’s day.
Arthur was a dedicated and hardworking man who took great pride in everything he did. A self-described workaholic, he approached life with determination and commitment, always striving to provide for those he loved. Despite his busy nature, he never missed an opportunity to share a laugh. Arthur had a natural gift for humor and was a true jokester, often lifting the spirits of family and friends with his playful personality and infectious smile.
Above all else, Arthur cherished time spent with his family. His greatest joy in life was his beloved daughter, Isabel, who was the center of his world. Whether traveling, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company, Arthur treasured the moments he spent with those closest to him. He also had a love for film and television, often discussing his latest watches with those around him.
Arthur leaves behind a family who will forever hold him close in their hearts. He is lovingly survived by his daughter, Isabel Alvarez; his sister, Adriana LaFosse (husband Jeff) nephews James and Jayden LaFosse; and his parents, Arturo Alvarez, Sr. and Mary Lou Cisneros Alvarez. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will remember him for his kindness, humor, and unwavering love for those around him.
Arthur’s legacy is one of laughter, dedication, and deep love for family. Though he will be greatly missed, the memories he created and the joy he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Art was an amazing, and very kind man. Such a tragedy. Prayers for all of his family.
So sad for you Isobel. But what a comfort it must have been for your father, that you were there with him. Prayers lifted up for you and the family.
It won’t help now, but it wasn’t goodbye but see you later.
It was a pleasure to get to know Art and work with him over the last 6 months. I’m thankful for everything that he’s helped me with, and taught me. He will be missed very much. Thanks so much for everything Art.
