Arturo Esparza Guerrero was born in Elmendorf, Texas on September 3, 1933. He went to the Lord on December 27, 2025 at the age of 92. He is the fourth of eight siblings born to Guillermo and Guadalupe Guerrero. Arturo served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955 when he was released from active duty with an Honorable Discharge. His tour of duty included Korea and Japan.
Arturo is preceded in death by his wife, Stella Guerrero, and siblings Celia Sosa (sister), Federico Guerrero (brother) and Ricardo Guerrero (brother). He is survived by his brothers Jacobo Guerrero, Adolfo Guerrero, Miguel Guerrero, and Raul Guerrero. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
