Audrey Bretherton

Audrey was born December 10, 1935 in Blackpool England to Robert and Elizabeth Sanderson. She arrived in the States in 1959 and soon became a single mother of three young children. After many years, she met a wonderful man named Tony Bretherton, who she married in 1980. Audrey and Tony moved back to England briefly, but she soon realized that being close to her children was very important and moved back to Texas, where she lived until her final day surrounded by family and friends. Her interests included family, sewing, word search puzzles and reading. She devoted much of her time and energy to her church and to her family. Audrey is survived by her sister, Doris Price; 2 daughters, Doris Zercher and husband Don, Karen Chervinskis and husband Frank; 1 son, Robert Davis and wife Brenda; 6 grandchildren; Shawn, Christopher, Brandon, Taylor, Hunter and Chance, and 6 great-grandchildren; Joshua, Seth, Calista, Parker, Anna and Lacey.
