Betty L. Hardaway

Betty Louise Hardaway was born October 8, 1928 in Port O'Conner, Texas to the late Will and Lillian Harvey. She was raised in Victoria, Texas and attended F. W. Gross High School. In 1955 Betty moved to San Antonio where she remained until her death. Betty loved working and supervising others. She spent twenty five years working in the San Antonio Independent School District as a custodial supervisor where she touched many lives. Betty was the family matriarch and a mentor for all who crossed her path. Her unconditional love for her family will be a living legacy to all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed. Memories will be forever cherished by her three children, Betty Jean Washington, Royal Lee Washington, Jr., and Ronnie Hardaway, her nine grandchildren: Irving, Jeff, Wayne, Royal, Robert, Jennifer, Kianna, Jacob and Leilani, her seven great-grandchildren: Irving III, Jamie, Adleigh, Royal, Roan, Isaiah and Ariyeon.
