Bobbie Jean Ussery was born October 21, 1948, in Itasca TX to William Ussery and Cora Mae Corley Ussery. She was 77 years of age as she began her everlasting life with the Lord on January 2, 2026.
Bobbie was a devoted mother and Christian who accepted Christ as her savior at an early age and remained faithful throughout her life. She was an active member of Rising Star Baptist Church, Reverend Romey Flowers, Pastor.
Bobbie was educated and graduated from Douglas High School in 1966. She continued her education at St. Phillips College and continue to Texas AM University in Laredo. Bobbie was also known for her caring heart and worked 20 years at Roosevelt High in Special Education.
Bobbie had a gift for making people feel welcome. Her friendly nature, easy smile, and generous spirit left lasting impression wherever she went. She was the kind of women who never hesitated to lend a hand, offer support, or simply be there when needed.
Bobbie cherished her family. She loved listening to blues, playing spades, fishing, dancing and having a good time with those she loved.
Bobby departed her life to become present before the Lord. Bobbie is survived by son, Solomon Ussery (Rena), her daughter Robbie Wallace, her sister, Dorothy Armstrong; four grandchildren, Mykeeta Ussery, Michaela Ussery, Mackenzie Ussery, Solomon Ussery Jr., numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and family.
