Carl Lee Nixon went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2017. He was born in Llano, Texas on September 1, 1938. Carl graduated from Tivy High School in Kerrville, Texas, served in the USAF, and retired from S.W. Research. Carl is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Louise Nixon; grandparents, and brother Tommy. He loved fishing, dancing and celebrating with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Anita and his sister Ruth Webb. He loved and was loved by all his family, extended family, and friends. He will always be remembered by his buddy Justin" who was his heart and soul. A celebration of life will be held at Grady's BBQ (7400 Bandera Rd., San Antonio, Texas) on October 22, 2017 from 11:30-3pm. Meal will be served at 12 oclock noon with service to follow.

  1. My condolence go out to the wife, family and friends of Mr. Nixon. I have personally lost Family and friends and know how painful it can be. In the bible at John 5: 28, 29, Jesus says “do not be amazed… the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out… to a resurrection of life … At that time he will be able to fish, dance, and celebrate again with his family and friends.
