August 27, 1940 ~ June 1, 2018
It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing on June 1, 2018 of our beloved Mother, Carrol J. Wuest. Carrol was born on August 27, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas. Carrol was a beautiful, talented and amazing person who was always ready and willing to care for anyone in need. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals for her family, bringing beauty back to old furniture pieces with her artful upholstery work, and spending quality time with family and friends. Nothing made her happier than to have her home filled with guests and to be surrounded by laughter and good food.
Carrol is predeceased by her parents, Adolph and Jeanette Vlasak; brothers, Kenneth and Ronald, and his spouse, Sandra.
Carrol is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Harvey Wuest; her brothers, Harry and wife Vicki, Robert and wife Elaine and Tom and wife Karen; her children, Janet Wright and husband Rich Dopierala, Judy Weyel and husband Mark, and Michael Wuest and wife Shannon. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer Wright, Lauren Wright, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carrol was dearly loved by her family and friends and her memory will always be cherished. We take comfort in knowing that she is home with her Loving Father now and is at peace.
If desired, donations can be made in Carrols memory to her favorite charity, St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
Guestbook
Carol will be missed beyond words. I will miss our long telephone visits. I love Carol so much. Janet, Judy and Michael….you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I will always remember all of our family getting together at Uncle Adolph and Aunt Jeanette’s house for bar-b-que’s. birthdays and holidays. It was always so much fun when we were all together.
My deepest sympathies for the loss of your dear loved one. May you find comfort in the God of comfort, Jehovah, the God of the Bible during this difficult time.
He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. Psalms 25:8
Proverbs 31:10-12 Amplified Bible Description of a Worthy Woman 10 An excellent woman [one who is spiritual, capable, intelligent, and virtuous], who is he who can find her? Her value is more precious than jewels and her worth is far above rubies or pearls. 11 The heart of her husband trusts in her [with secure confidence], And he will have no lack of gain. 12 She comforts, encourages, and does him only good and not evil All the days of her life.
