Charles L. Goins

Charles L. Goins passed from this life into the arms of his Savior on Saturday, November 27, 2010 with his loving wife at his bedside, after a courageous fight with cancer. Born in Great Falls, SC on April 16, 1943 to Furman and Zella Mae Goins he lived to serve and help others. For the past 12 years he resided in and around San Antonio and Bandera TX. His parents both precede him in death. He is survived by wife, Gabriele (Gail) Goins of Bandera, TX, by his brother's John Goins of Spartanburg, SC, Melvin Goins of Rock Hill, SC, Howard Goins of Chester, SC, and sister's Drucilla Bruce of Great Falls, SC, R'Dell Wilson of Fort Mills, SC, and Frances Tomlinson of Rock Hill, SC and many nephews and nieces. He spent over 21 years in the service for his country as a member of the Army, with tours in Germany, France, and Vietnam. He retired from active duty in October 1984. While he was serving his country in Munich, Germany he met and married his wife on June 2, 1964. They both attended and served the Lord at Open Door Pentecostal Church of God in San Antonio, TX.
