Cherrill Darlene Baggett

Cherrill Darlene Baggett was born on January 23, 1944 in Forest City, NC and passed away on November 10, 2015 in Springfield, VA. She is preceded in death by her parents Willie P. Newton and Violet Porter Newton of Forest City. She is the beloved wife of the late James W. Baggett, Sr. "Jim". She is the loving mother of Teresa Taylor, James W. Baggett, Jr. "Jimmy" and Debra Garza (Jos). She is sister of the late Russell and Stanley Newton and grandmother of Christian Gilmer and great-grandmother of Mikayla. Cherrill accepted Christ early in her life. She loved teaching bible classes and spoke fondly of her memories. In her mind she was was a minister and evangelist. She would read the bible, talk of faith and pray with her family, friends and her caregivers. Cherrill was so full of love. She loved unconditionally and lived for her children. She was kind and affectionate with everyone she came in contact. She touched people deeply with her sweet voice and loving ways. From early on she had a love of nature and all creatures. She loved flowers and plants and knew all the names. Her favorite flowers were red roses. Your love and memory will never pass away.
