With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher Dick, a man whose life was defined by kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He left this world on April 1, 2025, but his legacy of compassion and selflessness will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born on March 22, 1961, Christopher dedicated his life to the people he loved. He was more than a son, father, brother, and grandfather—he was the rock, the guiding light, and the steady presence that held his family together. His love was unconditional, his wisdom boundless, and his heart as big as his spirit. Whether it was offering a helping hand, sharing words of encouragement, or simply being there when needed most, he was a man who put others before himself without hesitation.
Christopher had a passion for all things sports. A devoted Alabama Crimson Tide fan, he cheered “Roll Tide” with pride, and his love for baseball was unmatched. He held season tickets to the San Antonio Missions, always eager to share the joy of the game with family and friends. His extensive collection of sports memorabilia was not just a hobby but a reflection of his deep admiration for the teams and players he followed so faithfully.
Though our hearts ache in his absence, we find comfort in knowing that his kindness, laughter, and love will live on in the countless lives he touched. His generosity knew no bounds, and his spirit of giving will forever serve as an example to us all.
Christopher is preceded in death by his father Richard Dick, Step-Father Frank Ratliff, sister Robin Spry, and Wife Elizabeth “Robin” Dick. Left to cherish his memory are his four children Patrick Manley, Nicole Manley, Rachel O’Rourke, and Samantha Mullen, his Mothers Carol Ratliff and Mary Dick, siblings Debra L. Kresh, Kelly Dick, Kyle Wingfield, Joshua Ratliff, and Jedidiah Ratliff. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, as well as step-children Desiree Dombrowski-Moore and Derek Dombrowski, their 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, as well as fur babies Athena and Meow-Meow.
While he may no longer be by our side, his presence will never fade. His was a life well-lived, and his love will never be forgotten.
One day you will see him again.
