clarence millus
Clarence L. Millus, of Schertz, TX passed away on January 14, 2012 at Brooke Army Medical Center following a brief heart attack. He was born in Hanford, CA on October 11, 1963, to Clarence and Edith Millus. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Amelia(Maghanoy) Millus; sons, Kimo Maghanoy and Bruce Millus; daughters, Malia and Tracey Millus and Stacey Gertz, mother, Edith Millus, siblings, Louise Giles, Sheila Burris and Michael Millus, and many close friends and family members. In his early years Clarence attended high school in Corcoran, CA. He enlisted in the Army at the age of 17 where he met his wife, Amelia on the Island of Oahu, HI; and were married in 1983. He left the Army and joined the Navy soon after 1985. After serving with the Navy for 19 years, Clarence was medically dischared and received full retirement thereafter. Clarence continued to work on military bases after his service in the military as HAZ-Mat Waste manager and technician. Clarence was an old-fashion father who believed in working hard for his family; he believed that nothing came for free and that life without work ethics was a life not worth living. He was a man who believed that his children respect their mother and father first and foremost. He in instilled familial and work responsibilities, respect for elders and authority figures, as well as the commitment to do everything to the best of our abilities and to the fullest. Clarence expected and pushed his children to go beyond their limits, to achieve to their fullest potential, and to better themselves and their careers. He was a man who loved his family, especially his wife Amelia. He was a man that gave people everything he had and more and expected nothing in return. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 1:30PM to 3:00PM at Chapel 1 at Randolph AFB with the funeral services to begin 3:00PM.
