Clay Byrom

clay byrom
Alexander Clay Byrom, best known as Clay, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 5, 2017. Clay was born on May 18, 1991 in San Bernardino, CA to Chris Curletti and Winifred (Wendy) Ridling. Clay is survived by his wife Jordan and their 2 beautiful daughters, Alexandria (Ally) and Zoey. He is also survived by his mother, Wendy Gates and step-father Gordon; his brothers, Johnny Greenwood (Sabra) and David Greenwood; Maternal Grandmother, best known as Grandma Richie and Maternal Grandfather, Edward Schwartz, best known as Grandpa Ed; Aunts that lovingly and simply called Clay, Nephew, Lisa Summit, Sideania Ridling, and Samantha Ridling; Uncles, Abel Hernandez, Daniel Harris, and Jesus Robles. Along with numerous cousins, he is survived by more friends than he ever realized he had, including one very special friend and bud, Sarah Layman. Clay had a zest for life and loved to play his guitar and sing for friends and family. Clay loved having loads of people around him to just visit and spend time with or to fire up the BBQ pit for. Clay did not miss an opportunity to tell you, Rock -n- Roll or Dont Tread on Me, and he would tell you that the two things he was most proud of and that they were his biggest accomplishments in life, was becoming a Daddy to Ally and Zoey, he loved his girls more than life itself. A Memorial/Celebration of Life will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm on Saturday May 20, 2017 at the MeadowLawn Chapel, 5611 E. Houston, San Antonio, TX 78220. It is a request of the family that if you would like to speak and say something, you are more than welcome to do so, or if you would like to play your guitar with Clay one last time, please bring that with you also and we will give Clay one last jam session to remember him by. It is never goodbye, it is see ya later… Hey Clay, Keep on Keeping on!
