Clifford Aaron McCoy passed away October 28, 2013, after a short illness. Born January 19, 1954, in Niagara Falls, New York, Clifford attended local area schools and graduated from Trott Vocational High School in 1972. His love for music lead him to create a local area band called "The Fadelics". In the summer of 1972 Clifford enlisted into the U.S. Air Force where he served 24 years. He was awarded several distinguished medals. Clifford was assigned to Lackland AFB as training instructor. Upon retirement he made San Antonio his home. He taught computer classes at San Antonio Community College, then later worked as a Network Administrator at Randolph Air Force Base until his illness. Clifford is survived by 4 sisters: Patricia Coles, Cheektowaga, New York, Janice McCoy Workman (Otis), Williamsville, New York, Pamela McCoy Stark (Calvin), Lockport, New York, and Phyllis McCoy, Washington D.C. Two brothers also survive, Dana McCoy, Niagara Falls, New York, Kenneth McCoy, and Buffalo, New York. Several cousins and one very special cousin Brenda Bell, a longtime friend of 30 years, Robert Earl Allen, two nephews; Glenn Coles and Kellen Wilson. Clifford is preceded in death by father Roscoe McCoy, Sr., mother, Betty (Esters) McCoy, two brothers; Roscoe McCoy, Jr. and Lawrence McCoy. A memorial service will be held 12:00 pm, Saturday, November 2, 2013 at The Religious Activity Center (RAC), Randolph Air Force Base. Pastor Dwayne Thomas, officiant. Family will receive well-wishers at 11:00 am.
