David Allen Williams

david williams
On Thursday, March 9, 2017 a hard working man was sadly taken from his beloved family and friends in a tragic work related accident. David Allen "Dolla Bill" Williams, 36 of San Antonio, TX, was one of four children. He was born on December 16, 1980 in San Antonio, TX to Lisa J. Williams and David Miller. David received his formal education in the Northside Independent School District. David worked as a foreman for Stark Contracting for 10 years and truly loved and took pride in each job he set out to do. Often he would smile and brag to his family about a new piece of equipment he operated, a job he helped to complete, or a new person being added to the "family". When the work day was over, David enjoyed picking up his two youngest boys from elementary school and sitting at the table helping them with their daily homework. David met his wife, Jina, who he would call his best friend in 2004. They had a relationship like no other. She often referred to him as her "king" and she was his "queen". He was a family man and spent much of his free time with his family and close friends sitting around in the garage talking about people and laughing. David was a character and liked to ask way too many questions about things he'd read or heard just to throw people off, so he could eventually tell them his answer. David was known as "Dolla Bill" to those that knew him well because as he'd put it he was "about his money". He loved to iron and he took pleasure in getting the sharpest crease in all of his jeans. David was the life of a party and also loved to dance, so whenever there was a get together or any type of party, he was the one in the middle of the crowd getting it going. He loved his family and friends and they loved him back. David was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa J. Williams, his sister, Stephanie "Nikki" Nicole Williams, his great-grandmother, Luella Sailes, and Thomas Smith. He leaves many loved ones to cherish his memory his grandmother, Georgia B. Lindsey, his father, David Miller, his loving wife, Jina L. Williams, his kids Delarnas, Alazay, Mariah, David Jr., and Davion, his sisters Glennda Williams Gover, Tiffany L. Williams, and Jara Miller, and his beloved nieces, Deiceis, Seyarrah, Annyssa and Esa Bella, a godson, Gavin. He also leaves behind aunts, Barbie (Albert), Cynthia, Cheryl, Beverly, Terri, Janice, Letecia, Lanette, uncle, Melvin, and a host of cousins, and so many special friends he considered family, Raymond, Joe, A.C., Kunta, Dizzy Doo, Rick, Lil' Man Matthews, and his Stark family, Ryan and Tiffany Stark, Amy S., Benny, Benny Jr., Chris, and Juan.

  1. It was a honor to meet David “Dolla” around the birth of his youngest son. I remember him thanking me for the name Davion. I also have a wonderful memory of Jina taking a picture of me near his prize possession. That escalate with the very nice rims! Jina was my supervisor for a few years and I have pleasant memories of her telling me how blessed she was to have found such a wonderful man and husband. How wonderful it is to know the Bible teaches a resurrection hope for our dear love ones John 5:28 “All those in the memorial tombs will hear his(Jesus) voice” and He will long for the works of his own hands. Job 14:14, 15. Love, hugs and prayed for the family.

    My sincerest condolences,

    LaToyia Granger

  2. My name is Rudy Lozano with Fidelity Mortgage. I had the distinct pleasure to meet David and Jina on a Saturday in my office for their mortgage on their first home. It was the most fun and I laughed so hard as if I were at a comedy club. Honestly, I had not laughed so hard in years! David and Jina had Chemistry couples of 50 years of marriage. It is a sad day when a man that had so much love for life, family and his trade leave us so tragically. May God Bless his family, children and friends. It was an honor to know a man with so much heart and love of life! Love YOU David and Jina!

  3. My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting David and Jina back in 2010. You could tell that the two of them were a riot. I had the pleasure of helping them by their first home back in 2012. It was an amazing experience having them initially as clients and then as friends.

Every time I dropped by to say hi and see how they were doing, David would meet me with a big hug and always made me feel like I was his best friend and treated me like family. My memory of David will be that amazing smile, wonderful personality, positive attitude, his do rag and his pimped out ride.

It was my privilege to be your friend! You made a positive impact in my life and We will Miss You!!!
