David Donnell Hartley

david hartley
David Donnell Hartley was born to David Hartley and Barbara Johnson on May 6, 1985. He attended Judson High School where he played football and ran track. He graduated in 2004. He then went on to get certified as a Medical Administrative Assistant. To know David was to love him. He was full of charisma, charm, and personality. David was always laughing and loved to tell jokes. He was always dependable to those in need. He was kind hearted and felt most complete and happy when he was able to help someone else. David was the kind of person that would give you his last $5. He loved turning a sad situation into a happy one. He'd listen to a friend's problem, make a joke to get them laughing, and then boost them up by telling them their strong points and reassuring them they could overcome their obstacles. David had a heart of gold and touched the lives of many. David lost his mom December 2003 and the loss was so great it took away some of that spark. David will be missed but his soul is now at peace. We love you. David is preceded in death by his mother Barbara Johnson and brother David Hartley Jr. David leaves to cherish his memory his grandmother; Rose Lee Pool, his parents; David and Sandra Hartley, his children; Alicia Lanell and Kamryn Cordell Hartley-Bass, Leah and Lelah Jones, and Arianna Clark, his sisters; Danielle Hartley, Michelle, Tisha Hartley and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins as well as friends.

  6. God grant me the serenity

    to accept the things I cannot change;

    courage to change the things I can;

    and wisdom to know the difference.

    Living one day at a time;

    enjoying one moment at a time;

    accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;

    taking, as He did, this sinful world

    as it is, not as I would have it;

    trusting that He will make all things right

    if I surrender to His Will;

    that I may be reasonably happy in this life

    and supremely happy with Him

    forever in the next.

    Amen.

    David was a friend then became apart of the family.

    He will never be forgotten but truly missed.

    May God be with you in these trying times.

  12. To the family and friends of David, I am really sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the beautiful , funny, happy memories David leaves behind. Our loving God Jehovah also gives us comfort. In the scriptures we find his promise of a resurrection.John 5:28,29. During this time of sorrow it is vital to draw close to family for support and most important to God as Psalms 46:1 says “God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress”

    Romans 8:31-39 “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

    Philippians 1:3 I thank my God in all my remembrance of you.

    Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
