Born in: Corpus Christi, Texas
Resided in: Kyle, Texas

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah Kaye Mullins, 57, of Kyle, Texas, who left this world on September 8, 2025, in her home.

Born in Corpus Christi on October 18, 1967, Deborah lived a life full of love, creativity, and devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband and soulmate, Randy Mullins, and is survived by her two beloved sons, Matthew and Samuel Mullins, who were the center of her world. Being their mother was her proudest and most cherished role.

As the spouse of a decorated, honorably discharged TSGT veteran, Deborah proudly supported her husband and his service.

For over 20 years, Deborah worked in Fluoroscopy and Radiological Medical Imaging where she deeply valued her colleagues, students, clients, and patients. She especially loved teaching and mentoring students interested in her field, leaving a lasting impact on many.

Deborah’s passions extended far beyond her career. She was a gifted artist who loved crafting, glasswork, sewing and painting. She found peace in gardening, surrounding herself with vibrant plants, and adored animals, showering her pets with endless love. Fishing had been one of her favorite family pastimes, and in recent years, she rekindled that joy with her brother Michael.

Those who knew Deborah will remember her creativity, warmth, and dedication to family and friends. Her love was quiet but powerful, her spirit strong yet tender, and her presence one that will be deeply missed.

Her family asks, in place of flowers, that donations be made to help her sons during this time of grief at: https://gofund.me/fd9aa584f

Guestbook

  1. I worked with Deborah for three years and was always inspired by the way she cared for her patients. Even on the most difficult, busy day, Deborah took it one patient at a time and didn’t project her frustrations onto anyone. I especially respected the way she treated our veteran patients – I learned a lot from the way she interacted with them. We are so sad that Deborah is gone, we will really miss her laugh and her chats. We will also miss her creativity! She always elevated our decorations with her beautiful painting skills! Sending love to her family, and know that we are holding you close in our thoughts, prayers, and heart as we remember our friend, Deborah.
