Dennis Ray “Duke” Burleson passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026 in San Antonio, Texas. He was the third child born to Donald Ray and Kim Burleson. Dennis was born in Bossier City, Louisiana and raised in San Antonio, Texas.
Duke as he was affectionately known, attended public school in the Northeast Independent School District and graduated in 2001. He also attended Exclusive Adult Daycare for over twenty years. He always had a smile and met no strangers, once you met him you were instant friends. Duke was the most loveable person you could ever meet.
Dennis was proceed in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and Zelma Burleson; uncles, Robert Earl Burleson and Billy Earl Burleson. He leaves his parents, Donald Ray and Kim Burleson to forever cherish his memories, along with his siblings, Donald Ray Burleson, Jr., Shavonne Virgeania
Burleson and Andreal Ross; uncles, Lawrence (Phyllis) Burleson and Wendell (Kimberly) Burleson; aunts, Zelma Boston (Gary Anderson) with a host of cousins and other relatives and dear friends.
