Donna Ruth Ochs
October 3, 1952 ~ July 20, 2010
Donna Ruth Ochs, beloved sister, mother and grandmother, surrounded by her loving family, at Vitas Morningside Manor, entered eternal life peacefully at the age of 57, on the 20th day of July 2010. Her family finds peace in knowing that Donna is in heaven with the Lord and his beloved son until the day that we are all united as a family once again. Donna was born in Riverside, CA on October 3, 1952. She was a beautiful, wonderfully kind and loving woman that was loved by all. She devoted her life to raising her children and praising the Lord for his many wonders. She loved sewing, music, boxes and pens. Donna graduated as a certified nurse's aid and medical assistant, and used her talent for caring for the elderly in their time of need. Donna is survived by her sister Mike Ruder; her brothers Steve Walmsley, Jimmy Walmsley, and Daniel Myers; her children, Mark Willis, Elizabeth Lafountain, Heather Martinez, David Ochs, Michael Ochs, and Gregory Ochs; and her grandchildren Brianna Lafountain, Aurora Lafountain, Elijah Snyder, and Lilly Grimes. She will be remembered always by her family and friends and held dear in their hearts. We raise our glasses to her and say "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah, Donna, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah forever".

The family of Joe Webb, classmate and friend of Gregory and Michael send our love to Joe’s dear friends and their family at this sad time. If there is anything that you need, please call on us. Mary (Branson), Joe, and Joe Webb
Dear Children of Donna Ruth, I have not heard from your Mother in about a year, and just learned how to use a computer. This was my first assignment, to locate my dearest friend, your Mother. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. We became close friends while living in Germany, and have stayed in touch up until a year ago, when she stopped writing to me. I tried over and over to contact her, but never got a reply. Please contact me and tell me what happened to her. She loved you all so much and wanted you all to have a relationship with the Lord.
Today Oct 3 is your birthday Donna. From what I understand you are in a better place for your birthday. I am so sorry I did not get a chance to speak with you before your passing. Although we had lost touch somewhat I always remember the great conversations we had in school Donna. You always made me laugh with your sarcasim and wit. I enjoyed talking on the phone after school Donna although again we both got busier and did not talk as much I thought of you often. Clearly I should have called more often when you came to mind. I had no idea you were sick I wish you would have called me but I understand why you did not. Cancer has now taken two of my very dear friends. Rest in peace my friend I know your sarcasim and sense of humor will stay with me always. I am grateful to have met you and known you even for our short time. I love you Donna
