Dora G. Carreon

Dora Gutierrez Carreon, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered eternal rest on December 16, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 100 years old. Dora was born to parents: Jorge Gutierrez and Maria Barrera on July 15, 1923 in San Antonio, Texas.

Dora met and married the love of her life, Domingo H. Carreon and the two married in 1944. They shared a beautiful union of over 50 years until he departed her in 1995. Dora was a loving mother who raised 16 children. She was so kind and one of the sweetest persons anyone could meet. She had a generous heart as well. Dora will be forever cherished and will live on in our hearts.

She was greeted in heaven by her husband, Domingo H. Carreon, and her children: Ernesto Carreon, Alejando Carreon, Hector V. Carreon, and Richard G. Carreon.

She leaves to cherish in her memory: her loving children: Tomasa Lopez, Cecila Garcia, Domingo Carreon, Diana Ramos, Sylvia Villarreal, Fernando Carreon (Anna Marie), Loretta Rocha (Raul), Raymond Carreon (Yolanda), Yolanda Carreon, Anthony Carreon, Dalia Salazar, and Liza Veloz Carreon, 40 grandchildren, 95 great-grandchildren; and numerous other close relatives and friends.
