Douglas was a loving father, who truly enjoyed spending time with his only son, Anthony. They shared a special bond that will be forever cherished.
In his spare time, he enjoyed playing miniature golf, watching horror movies, betting on the horses @ Retama, and visiting the Kickapoo Casino.
Douglas’s absence is deeply felt and his physical presence will be missed.
He leaves in his memory, his only son, Anthony Douglas Martinelli (David), his step-daughter: Angela Mann, and his special friend: Cynthia Williams, and numerous other close friends.
Tony, I’m sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. My memories of your mom and dad go back to 1969 at Fitzsimmons when we were just little tots. I remember riding to the summit of Mt Blue Sky with the both of you in my dad’s Mustang Convertible, the top was down and the sun was bright, it’s funny how small memories become core memories. His friendship with my dad lasted 55+ years. R.I.P Major Yost.
